Most Konted models use high-speed WiFi for real-time imaging. A USB wired mode is available as a backup for stable performance in high-interference environments or for charging.
Connecting your wireless ultrasound probe via Wi-Fi is generally a two-step process: linking the hardware and then syncing with the imaging software.
Step 1: Activate the Probe's SignalPower On:
Press and hold the power button on the probe. You should see a light (usually green) start to flash, indicating the probe is searching for a connection or broadcasting its signal.
Open Wi-Fi Settings: On your tablet or smartphone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
Select the Network: Look for a Wi-Fi network name (SSID) which such as SN: UXCCBMH000
Enter the Password: password is the SN of the probe, but it is the small letter not capital. Once connected, your device might say "Connected, no internet"—this is normal, as the probe is a local signal, not a router.
Step 2: Launch the Software
Open the App: Open the MyUSG app.
Wait for Initialization: The app should automatically detect the connected probe. If it doesn't, look for a "Search" or "Connect" icon within the app's home screen.
Confirm the Image: Once the "Freeze" button is toggled off, you should see a live ultrasound signal on your screen.
Troubleshooting Quick Fixes
Disable Cellular Data: Sometimes mobile devices try to switch back to 4G/5G because the probe's Wi-Fi has no internet. Turning off cellular data or "Smart Wi-Fi Switch" during use can prevent drops.
Check Battery Level: If the battery is below 20%, the Wi-Fi signal may become weak or drop frequently.
App Permissions: Ensure the app has permission to access "Local Network" and "Location" in your device settings; these are often required for Wi-Fi handshaking on newer versions of iOS and Android.
Is the app failing to recognize the probe even after you've connected to the Wi-Fi in your settings?
